We’ll be hanging out in the #cowork-voice
chat a bit. Just start a thread in #hackathons
and tag @squirrel
if you have any questions or want to run your idea by us!
This hackathon is all about practicing working with real code. We will be working on the codebase of the peanut-sdk. It assumes a basic understanding of Peanut Protocol.
This SDK is currently used in wallets and dapps to create peanut links. The idea is that peanut links can be useful for onboarding, and are just a nice feature to have for the end users of wallets. UIn fact, such integrations are what drives our day-to-day business.
Our app uses this SDK, and you can generate links easily. We’ll also be handing out some testnet funds using peanut links to all participants.
Your task: submit one (or multiple) PRs to the SDK’s github repo!
Your Pull Request can be anything you want. From submitting bug reports, to refactoring code, adding entirely new features, or whatever else comes to mind. There are many ideas that follow.
Deadline: Sun 25 Midnight
Expected: ~4 hours of work
Your PR should be production-ready code. Keep in mind that it’s better to scope correctly and have some very small change or feature, rather than overscope it and deliver a half-broken PR.
Please:
Minimum quality criterion for prize eligibility: The PR needs to be good and significant enough that it could be merged into the main branch.
Prizes: $400 - $100
