The Peanut Ecosystem and its Teams: Lab & App, Foundation & Protocol.

The Peanut App is the frontend which you use to interact with the Peanut Protocol, the backend. The Peanut App is maintained by the Squirrel Labs team about which you can read more in our About section.

Keeping them separate allows us to be decentralised. See the ‣ section for more info about decentralisation.

Here is a quick glossary to avoid confusion:

• Squirrel Labs: the team that develops the Peanut App
• Peanut Protocol: the collection of ‣
• Peanut Ecosystem: a combination of apps and smart contracts around Peanut Protocol
• Peanut App: the frontend web app by Squirrel Labs that lets you easily interact with the Peanut Protocol
• Peanut Foundation (tba): the Foundation whose mission is to support the Peanut Ecosystem
