No. You can be from any country and still use QR payments in Argentina and Brazil, as long as you complete KYC.
It depend on the country where your ID was issued:
QR payments (Argentina & Brazil):
Available to users from any country (Europe, US, LATAM, etc.) after completing KYC. (Users don’t need an ID from Argentina or Brazil to access this feature)
Yes. Each KYC unlocks features for specific regions.
Global KYC (US & Europe):
Required to on-ramp or withdraw in the US or Europe.
Also allows QR payments in Argentina and Brazil for non-local users.
Argentina & Brazil KYC:
Required if you are from Argentina or Brazil to use QR payments or local bank accounts.
If you’re from Argentina or Brazil and also want to use US or European banks, you’ll need both KYCs.
If you’re not from Argentina or Brazil, one Global KYC is enough.
